Following the AGM in September, there are a number of vacancies on the Executive Committee, for which we are inviting any interested person to apply. We are keen to fill all the places as it makes for a stronger Committee, which is then in a better position to act on and promote the work that we wish to undertake.
While we have achieved a great deal in the past two years, there is some fantastic potential to make new activities and ideas happen, and any new Members will be well supported either by the Chairman or Vice Chairman.
The main responsibilities are to manage our revenue budget on a monthly basis, reporting back to our funders, the World Monument Fund, but also to help plan and produce a longer term financial strategy for the Partnership.
The main responsibilities of this post are to assist with the overall organisational arrangements from taking minutes at meetings, agenda planning, room bookings, membership management.
There are two Committee places to be filled by anyone who is passionate and enthusiastic to support and take forward the work of the NAP. If you have particular skills and experiences of Committee work, then this would be most helpful.
In terms of time commitment, the Executive Committee currently meets for about two hours a month, usually on a Monday afternoon at the Abbey.
If there are NAP members who would wish for further information or a discussion about any of the vacancies, please do not hesitate to contact me.
